The GUIDING FORCE behind every activity at the Ashram is our beloved Guruji. His ever-radiant smile, his boisterous laughter, his care and concern for all devotees and the innate simplicity of his personality can only be experienced when you meet him.
A grahastha , with two children, Guruji was a busy working executive. He was, in his College days, a self-proclaimed Rationalist. A person who used to view everything religious and spiritual with amusement (and with disdain), was transformed – with his first encounter with MAA MOOKAMBIKA! We perceive HER incarnation as JAGADAMBA.
The visit would have been routine, were it not for the remarkable incident that happened during this period.
Guruji met a man on the way to Kudajari- the Holy Hill where MAA AMBA took her reincarnation in the “Tretayuga”. It is believed to be the “ADI PEETA” OF MAA AMBA.
He was old – father of three sons, two of whom were well-educated and well-settled in life. The third son , who was less educated, was and Auto Rickshaw Driver. The old man was staying with this son because he was willing to look after him, inspite of his meager income.
The old man was pained due to the plight of this son and his lack of support from the elder brothers who were better placed in life.
Fate played it s cruel trick then. This son was arrested by the Police because, the passengers he once carried were caught smuggling narcotics! The prospect of ten years’ rigorous imprisonment for his son, the doom that would descend the family, was too much for the Old man to bear! On hearing of this sad story, Guruji assured him, that AMBA would help him out of lose faith in her and that he should not lose faith in her and that he should be prepared to sacrifice one thing which was dear to him.
The Old man, on hearing this removed his spectacles and broke it to pieces. They were very dear to him because without them he was, practically blind. He prayed to AMBA that his son be saved from the situation.
The next day saw the Old man desperately trying to find Guruji. Then he located him. In his hand was a Tamil Daily, DINAMALAR a leading Daily of Tamil Nadu announcing that his Auto Rickshaw driving son was found NOT GUILTY and honorably exonerated!! Such are the doings of MAA AMBA!!
Guruji’s communication with JAGADAMBA, his protestations in front of HER – as a young son to his Mother can see to believe.
Guruji has been the medium through whom we have felt and seen JAGADAMBA. He discusses various problems, issues and decisions with JAGADAMBA and faithfully conveys the same to us – the devotees.
The Jagadambaji Temple Trust is an organization formed with the objective of spiritual wakening, Developement of the Human Potential and Social Development. All its activities would focus on one or all of these all the time.
With the formation of the Trust, all it’s varied activities come under one fold-including the Sri Ramdas Mission Trust formed earlier. The various Divisions of the Trust are:

In the days to come, all these activities will be originating from our Campus housing the Jagadambaji Temple, the College , a School , a Student’s Hostel, a Crèche-cum-Play Center for kids etc.
It is envisaged and planned to create and ambience for the purpose of Spiritual Solace – that which catalyses development of the Human Mind leading to Peace and Prosperity through application of ethical and moral values. It would be a place where successful and prosperous persons would choose to come for spending their spare time – proving to be Inspiration and Hope for the lesser privileged.
The Jagadambaji Temple Trust also proposes top set up Kendras in various parts of the Country, projecting and propagating these values all around. Our Guruji, the Founder Chairman of the Ram Das Ashram would direct and guide all activities of the Ashram which will be managed and implemented by a Managing Committee. All the District and State Committees, managing the various Kendra’s would report to the Managing committee which shall remain the Apex Committee.
The Jagadambaji Temple Trust would enlist the support of numerous Volunteers for the purpose of implementing various plans from time to time. In the process of its evolution, it is expected that we would be able to develop cottage Industries for generation of employment and our own Sales Outlets for its products so manufactured.
